PM Narendra Modi to visit Varanasi, Siddharthnagar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Varanasi and Siddharthnagar districts in Uttar Pradesh today (October 25).
In his Lok Sabha constituency, PM Modi is scheduled to launch Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana and will also inaugurate various development projects worth more than Rs 5200 crore for Varanasi.
In Siddharthnagar, the Prime Minister will inaugurate nine medical colleges in the state. Read more

COVID-19 cases on rise in China
A fresh wave of COVID-19 infections has been reported in China and health officials fear that the coronavirus cases will increase in the coming days. They are also worried that the areas affected by the epidemic may continue to expand.
The officials have urged the public to take the booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccines to reduce the risks of the resurgence of the cases. Read more

Uttar Pradesh sees first Zika virus case
Uttar Pradesh has reported its first case of Zika Virus from Kanpur, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Kanpur informed on Sunday.
Dr Nepal Singh said that the person, an Indian Air Force personnel, was infected with Zika virus on Saturday.
"We have formed teams as soon as we received the information. With the help of 10 teams, we started taking precautionary action in his residential area and the workplace," he added. Read more
NCB to quiz Ananya Panday again
Bollywood actress Ananya Panday was grilled for nearly 4 hours on October 22 by the Narcotics Control Bureau at their office in Mumbai and has been called again on Monday to join the probe. She was probed after some of WhatsApp chats between her and Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan had surfaced.
As per sources close to NCB, it has been learnt that as many as 7 electronic gadgets belonging to Chunky Panday's daughter have been seized and sent to the Forensics Department for investigation. Read more
