PM Narendra Modi lauds Kutch for its all round progress: In Pics

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of development projects in Kutch on Tuesday in Gujarat. In his address to the people he covered several topics and even spoke about the agricultural reforms.

The Prime Minister said that Kutch has become one of the fastest developing areas and that the people of Kutch have turned disappointment into hope. "Everyone stood-up again after the quake and now look where have they taken Kutch," he said.

Talking about the agricultural reforms, PM Modi said, "People who are sitting in the Opposition & misleading farmers today were in the favour of these farm reforms during their govt. They could not make a decision during their govt. Today when the nation has taken a historical step then these people are misleading farmers."

"A Clean Energy Investment Ranking came out recently. 114 countries appear in this ranking and India features in the top 3 countries. Now, India is showing a path to the entire world and leading it, in the fight against climate change," the Prime Minister added.

After the ceremony Prime Minister Modi took some time to personally meet and talk to people from various groups in Kutch.
