Photo Gallery: Rahul Gandhi's Kailash Yatra sparks controversy, BJP MP claims pictures photoshopped
Congress President Rahul Gandhi is currently on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and has been posting photos on Twitter from his visit. The visit has attracted public attention while BJP MP and Minister of State Giriraj Singh alleged that the pictures he shared were photoshopped. People wondered if he was really there, why was he posting pictures of landscape images found on Google and not of himself. People had been asking him for 'selfie' evidence to prove that he was undertaking the yatra. In the video that has now gone viral, Rahul can be seen at a camp interacting with fellow pilgrims. BJP MP and Minister of State Giriraj Singh alleging that the photos he shared were photoshopped. Giriraj tweeted saying, "This is photoshopped. Where is the shadow of the wooden cane?" Rahul can be seen holding a cane in the photo. Nation In-Charge of BJP's social media team Priti Gandhi had also questioned Rahul Gandhi's visit claiming that the photos are downloaded from the internet. She posted on Twitter saying, "Are you downloading pics from the internet and tweeting? Are you really at Mansarovar or some place else." Congress' official Twitter handle also posted Rahul Gandhi's photo and the distance he covered during his Yatra 'leaving all the haters behind.' The Twitter post said, "Leaving all the haters behind, Congress President @RahulGandhi sets the pace during his #KailashYatra." Posting one such picture, he wrote on Twitter that there is no hatred there. "The waters of lake Mansarovar are so gentle, tranquil and calm. They give everything and lose nothing.
