Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday offered prayers at the 13th century Sufi shrine dedicated to Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti here in Rajasthan. Rajasthan goes to polls on December 7 in a single-phase for the 200 member Assembly. Counting of votes will take place on December 11.   

Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and state Congress chief Sachin Pilot on his trip to Ajmer Sharif.

The Gandhi family's traditional khadim (cleric) made him perform 'ziyarat' at the dargah.

Rahul Gandhi visited Lord Brahma's temple in Pushkar to offer prayers before heading for election rallies in Pokhran in Jaisalmer, Jalore and Jodhpur districts. 

During the last leg of campaigning in the poll-bound state, Rahul will be addressing rallies and public meetings today.
