The newly formed Union Territories (UTs) of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh celebrated their first Independence Day after the abrogation of Article 370. The main function in J&K was held at Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar where Governor Satya Pal Malik hoisted the national flag.
