Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday (December 16) paid tribute to the martyrs of the Indi-Pakistan War of 1971 during the reception Ceremony of ‘Swarnim Vijay Mashaals’ in New Delhi.
Other dignitaries and soldiers of the Armed Forces were also present for the ceremony.
PM Modi later lit the Swarnim Vijay Mashaal to celebrate the sacrifice and victory of Indian soldiers over Pakistan.
