Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday (April 23, 2022) and it is expected to breach the 40-degree mark on Sunday amid clear skies. The national capital is bracing for another searing heatwave with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting the maximum temperature to touch the 44-degree mark next week.
