Vajpayee himself was a poet. In 2015, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was awarded Bharat Ratna, India's highest honour. Even if he is not among us today, his precious thoughts always give us the courage to move forward in life. Such was the charisma of Atal Bihari Vajpayee that he was respected and accepted across the political spectrum. His vision was not just limited to the BJP’s national political agenda but was far-fetched and reached across party politics. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died on August 16, 2018.
