Romantic drama 'Saathiya' inspired Pakistani TV drama 'Noor ul Ain'
Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherjee's 'Saathiya' won the hearts of millions with its intense, passionate love story. It also inspired director Sarmad Sultan Khoosat to adapt the film into a TV series titled 'Noor ul Ain'. It is based on the story of two individuals Noor ul Ain and Khizer who fall in love at first meeting and change each other's lives drastically.

Aamir Khan's 'Akele Hum Akele Tum' led to the Pakistani TV drama 'Koi Nahi Apna'
Inspired by Aamir Khan, Manisha Koirala's film 'Akele Hum Akele Tum', Pakistani TV drama 'Koi Nahi Apna' also follows the same story of a couple falling in love, hastily getting married and then facing marital issues when the husband devotes all his time to his career. Much like in the film, the couple in the TV drama also head for a divorce. The child custody struggle was also mirrored in the Pakistani TV show.

Mohan Segal 'Aulad' was remade into Pakistani film 'Naukar'
Directed by Mohan Segal, Aulad is a Bollywood film made hardly a few years after partition. Released in 1954, it stars Usha Kiran, Balraj Sahni, and Nirupa Roy. A year later in 1955, Pakistani director Ataullah Hashmi came out with a remake titled 'Naukar' starring Zeenat Begum, G.N. Butt, ChunChun, Swaran Lata Swaran Lata, Nazir, Aslam Pervaiz Aslam Pervaiz, Asha Posley, Ragni, Agha Salim Raza, and Shah Shikarpuri.

Bollywood's 'Arth' was the inspiration for the 2017 Pakistani film 'Arth – The Destination'
Mahesh Bhatt's 1980 iconic film 'Arth' was the inspiration behind the 2017 Pakistani remake of the movie titled 'Arth – The Destination'. In an interview with Indian Express, the director of the Pakistani version Shaan Shahid revealed that he tweaked the original plot to make it more relevant to the day and age.
The original film revoles around the story of a disgruntled filmmaker who begins an affair with an actress, betraying his wife. The film starred Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The Pakistani remake shifted the focus from the filmmaker to Raj Kiran who played a singer in the film.

Pakistani drama 'Nazo' was inspired by the Bollywood film 'Barfi!'
In the 2012 Bollywood film 'Barfi!', Ranbir Kapoor starred as a deaf-mute boy from Darjeeling and Priyanka Chopra featured as an autistic woman named Jhilmil. If you take a look at the Pakistani TV drama 'Nazo', the main character Nazo played by Sonya Hussain is heavily inspired from Barfi!'s Jhilmil. Nazo is differently-abled and has voluminous, curly hair much like Jhilmil.
