Sensational actress Urvashi Rautela feels outsiders are treated as objects to gain TRPs - In Pics

Bollywood's leggy lass and former beauty pageant winner Urvashi Rautela regularly updates her Instagram account and is known for her ravishing posts. The actress, who is quite an avid social media user and has over 31.3 million followers on Instagram alone, stated that the past 3 to 4 months have been very stressful.

She said that there has been a lot of negativity in the social media space which has affected her mentally.

Urvashi Rautela said, "The dynamics of Bollywood have completely changed because it’s 2020, because of COVID-19. I’m not comparing, I love Alia as an actor, but my film Virgin Bhanupriya was rated more on IMDB and user reviews were also better than Sadak 2 or even Khaali Peeli which just came out of Ananya’s, Virgin Bhanupriya was a lot better than that. I believe that a lot has to do with the media and its reviews. The media kind of elevates the star kids, they always appreciate their fashion sense, Acting performance, they never find anything negative about star kids, they just keep complimenting star kids again, again and again, no matter even if an outsider has done much better work than them, an outsider will be targeted for every tiny things that go wrong and even if nothing is wrong they’ll be treated as an object to gain TRP."

She further added, "Initially there were many false allegations saying that I used to call Hrithik Roshan at 2 am 4 am and all, I was naive, a lot has to do with the media. These false allegations hurt celebrities be it a star kid or an outsider, but the important thing which we have to notice is that these kinds of stories are never out for star kids. I am a fan of Hrithik and his work but that doesn’t mean I have a love angle for it. These things affect ones mental health and maybe this is what happened with Sushant."

On the work front, Urvashi Rautela was last seen in a comedy-drama film titled Virgin Bhanupriya. It also featured Gautam Gulati and Archana Puran Singh in pivotal roles. Urvashi is currently busy shooting for her upcoming Telugu film “Black Rose”.
