Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor Khan, who made a splash on the silver screen (for the first time after the birth of her son Taimur Ali Khan in 2016) with Veere Di Wedding turned showstopper on the second day of the ongoing India Couture Week in New Delhi.

The 'Begum of Pataudi' exhibited royalty and elegance as she made heads turn at the event. She shimmered in a heavily embellished 30 kg golden ensemble by Falguni and Shane Peacock on Thursday.

Kareena stepped on the ramp with poise despite the heavy lehenga, keeping her jewellery minimalistic with just earrings, and letting the bespoke outfit with a Parisian vibe grab the limelight. As she leaned against the cut-out of a crescent, Kareena lent a dreamy aura to the show, where models then took a final walk. (IANS inputs).

"I guess I am just a born actress, and not a born model. So when all the models were walking in front of me, apart from the fact that they are so tall and gorgeous, I realised that it's so tough and I was so nervous," Kareena told the media after the show here. (IANS inputs)

Aditi Rao Hydari looked divine in an ensemble by Tarun Tahiliani as she walked the ramp on Day 1 of the ongoing India Courture Week. Aditi exuded elegance in a muted but Swarovski-embellished lehenga with a gossamer veil, which the designer held as she walked to take a final bow. Tarun took to Instagram to share images of Aditi and write: "I couldn’t be more excited to see Aditi in our couture. In Elysium is a celebration of modern Indian goddess and the ethereal lightness of being, and she walked the part with allure and panache. Her effortless poise and individualistic style make her the quintessential Tarun Tahiliani muse - a woman who knows herself and who looks like herself, and who is not weighed down with the burden of projection."
