As the beautiful actress turns a year older on June 2, 2021, her colleagues and friends from industry took to social media to wish her on her special day. 

For the unversed, Sona weighed around 95 kilos before she made her Bollywood debut in the 2010 film 'Dabangg' opposite superstar Salman Khan. She shed almost 30 kgs and that was just the beginning of her transformation.

Sonakshi’s love for sarees, lehengas, and bold eye-makeup has always been the talk-of-the-town. From graphic eyeliner look to cat eyes, she can play with any colour of the eye-palette.

Sona shot to fame with her debut film ‘Dabangg’ alongside Salman Khan. Her dialogue “Thappad se darr nahin lagta saahab, pyar se lagta hai” catapulted her to stardom.
