Happy Birthday Sidharth Malhotra: Five lesser-known facts about 'Shershaah' actor!

Sidharth Malhotra who was born and brought up in Delhi graduated from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and then went on to pursue modelling at the age of 18.

Sidharth, owing to his good looks and personality, was quite successful in his modelling career. However, he decided to quit the industry as he wasn't satisfied with it.

Before his debut in Student Of The Year, Sidharth had auditioned for an Anubhav Sinha film. However, the film got shelved and he went on to work as an AD (Assistant Director) for Karan Johar in SRK's film 'My Name Is Khan'.

Sidharth is rumoured to be dating his Shershaah co-star Kiara Advani. However, none of them has commented on the speculations. In the film, he had played real-life hero and Indian army officer, Param Vir Chakra (PVC) Vikram Batra.

Outside of films, Sidharth harbours deep concern for dogs and has even collaborated with PETA for a campaign. He has also appeared in a US tour titled 'Dream Team 2016' along with Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Karan Johar.
