Raqesh Bapat, famous for his debut Tum Bin has been garnering a lot of appreciation for his calm attitude inside the Bigg Boss OTT house. His bond with actress Shamita Shetty is hogging all the limelight.

As the actor turns a year older on September 1, (Wednesday), let’s talk about some lesser-known facts about the actor.

Apart from acting, Raqesh has a penchant for painting as well. He is often seen sharing pictures of his stunning artworks on his social media account.

Not many are aware with his other talent of carving and making sculptures every year on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the actor makes an idol of eco-friendly Ganesha.

As Raqesh is in Bigg Boss OTT house this year, he has managed to make a Lord Ganesha's motif with a help of a fork. 

Raqesh was married to Ridhi Dogra in 2011 but got divorced in 2019. The couple met on the sets of TV show Maryada — Lekin Kab Tak in 2010 and were much in love during that period. 

Initially he worked for commercials including Wrigley's gum and Colgate, which helped him in getting the ticket to Bollywood. 

He bagged the position of ‘First Runner Up’ at Grasim 'Mr. India' in 1999.
