Veteran actress Amrita Singh turned a year older on February 9. The 80s superstar is a hands-on mother with several blockbusters to her credit. Her daughter, Sara Ali Khan is frequently seen sharing heartwarming pictures with her mother and brother Ibrahim Ali Khan on Instagram.
Actor Amrita Singh ringed in her birthday on February 9. The Chameli Ki Shaadi and Raju Ban Gaya gentleman star made her Bollywood debut in 1983 starring opposite Sunny Deol in the hugely successful film Betaab. Singh took a hiatus from acting after marrying actor Saif Ali Khan. The couple has two kids together - Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Their marriage later fell apart, but the kids are close to both of them.
Singh returned to the silver screen with the film 23rd March 1931: Shaheed (2002) and has been sporadically taking up acting projects since. She ventured into television with Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms' superhit daily soap titled 'Kkavyanjali' in 2005 and received a warm response.
