Engineers Day: Engineers who turned Bollywood actors

The late actor was a science enthusiast. He was pursuing Mechanical Engineering from Delhi Technological University before he gave it up to take up acting.  

He was pursuing engineering in biotechnology from DY Patil College of Engineering in Mumbai before he got his big Bollywood break.  

She completed her B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, but later opted for a different career.  

The ‘Massan’ actor completed engineering in electronics and telecommunications from Mumbai’s Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology before entering Bollywood.  

She obtained a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, Delhi and even worked as a software engineer before entering the glamour world.  

Actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood completed engineering from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur before taking up modelling and acting.  

The actress pursued Bio-genetic engineering from Tufts University in the US before switching to Economics and later entering B-Town.
