Children's Day 2021: Aamir Khan to Alia Bhatt - A look at Bollywood child actors then and now!

On November 14 every year, the country celebrates Children’s Day with great pomp and show. In the spirit of Children's Day, let's scroll through the pages of Bollywood stars, who debuted at a very young age as child actors and are now famous stars.

Aftab made his Bollywood debut with Mr. India (1987). He also appeared in films including Awwal Number, Shahenshah, ChaalBaaz and Insaniyat.

Shahid and Ayesha made their debut with Complan ad in 1990.

Hansraj started his career as a child actor with the film Masoom in 1983 which earned him rave reviews for his innocent performance. He went on to feature as one of the leads in YRF's Mohabbatein. 

Urmila made her debut as a child artist in Shreeram Lagoo's Marathi film Zaakol (1980) and was also seen as Jugal Hansraj's one of the two sisters in Masoom (1983).

The late legendary first female superstar of Indian cinema, actress Sridevi made her debut as a child actress in the 1967 Tamil film Kandhan Karunai at the tender age of 4. 

Veteran actress Neetu Singh Kapoor made her debut as a child actress with the film Suraj in 1966. She went on to become a top actress and featured in several films later. 

Alia featured as a child actor in the 1999 film 'Sangharsh', starring Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, and Ashutosh Rana.

Hrithik began his acting career as a child artist in his grandfather J Om Prakash's movie Aasha in 1980 when he was only 6-year-old. 

Aamir was seen as a child artist in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baarat which was released in 1973.
