After last rites, Lata Mangeshkar's nephew Adinath collects her ashes: In Pics

Late legend Lata Mangeshkar's funeral was held on Feb 6 at Shivaji Park in Mumbai with full State honours. The next day on Feb 7, the musical maestro's ashes were taken by her nephew Adinath Mangeshkar. The musician was spotted by paps as he stepped out of his car with the singer's ashes.

PM Narendra Modi, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, his wife Rashmi, son Aditya Thackeray, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Piyush Goel among others paid their last respects to Lata Mangeshkar at Shivaji Park, Mumbai.

Many fans flooded the late singer's home to pay their last respects. To honour musical legend Lata Mangeshkar's undying memory, sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a beautiful installation of the late singer at Puri beach in Odisha

In her final moments, Lata Mangeshkar's doctor Pratit Samdani from Breach Candy Hospital said that she had a smile on her face.
