Volkswagen, Germany's largest carmaker and also one of the largest carmakers globally continues its onslaught of electric vehicles with the debut of the ID.5 copue. The ID.5 joins the expansive range of electric cars from VW and carries forward the design theme from ID.4. The VW ID.5 comes in two flavours - standard and GTX – with three trims and three powertrain options. It gets a copue inspired design language with overall length, and wheelbase like ID.4. The ID.5 rides on the company's MEB architecture and gets one battery – a 77-kilowatt-hour pack paired to one of three electric motor outputs, depending on the trim – ID.5 Pro, ID.5 Pro Performance, or ID.5 GTX.
