Tata Tigor EV bookings open ahead of Aug 31 launch: Check features, range and specs of electric car
Tata is expected to launch Tigor EV in three variants - XZ+DT, XZ+ and XM. The prices of the models are likely to be revealed at the time of the launch.
New Delhi: After unveiling the Tigor EV early this week, Tata Motors has now opened the bookings for the much-awaited electric car. Tata Tigor EV will be the second electric car in Tata Motors’ lineup after Tata Nexon EV.
The official launch of the upcoming car is scheduled for August 31. However, the electric four-wheeler has already started making a buzz in India’s budding electric automobile industry.
According to the official website, Tata is expected to launch Tigor EV in three variants - XZ+DT, XZ+ and XM. The prices of the models are likely to be revealed at the time of the launch. However, one can book the car from the website by paying Rs 21,000 as booking fees.

Tata Tigor’s design has been completely revamped for the electric variant of the four-wheeler. The car’s exterior appears a bit similar to other hatchbacks such as Tata Tiago and Tata Altorz.
Most importantly, the wheels of Tata Tigor sport blue accents to point out that the electric car is environmentally friendly.

The homegrown automobile maker has revealed that the upcoming Tata Tigor EV will sport its Ziptron technology, which improves the overall performance of the electric car. Tata claims that the car can top 60 kmph in just 5.7 seconds. More features of the car will be revealed at the time of launch.
The upcoming electric four-wheeler comes with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system coupled with a Harman audio system. Tata claims that the car offers over 30 connected car features.
