The world lost famed fashion designer Virgil Abloh just a few days ago, who unexpectedly passed away earlier this week. Abloh collaborated with Daimler design chief Gorden Wagener on a one-off project called Project Maybach, a slick looking all-electric concept car. The stunning off-road model is based on the luxurious Maybach cars and gets chunky tyres, a roof rack, and other outdoorsy accessories. With its trademark massively long hood, solar cells underneath the transparent sheet metal and other interesting styling bits, Project Maybach is more than just a design piece, but a statement for the future electric vehicles.
