Mumbai: Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge solemnised their marriage ceremony in presence of family and close friends on November 23. The couple became man and wife by getting their marriage registered and opted for a simple ceremony over an elaborate event. The two are madly in love and their first selfie post wedding proves the same.
Sagarika took to Instagram to share her first selfie with husband Zaheer.
She posted: “Another dancing night #aboutlastnight (sic).”
The former India speedster too shared the same pic with a caption that reads: “With the Mrs”.
Both Zak and Sagarika opted for simple attire for their marriage ceremony. Zaheer wore a light pink kurta and white pyjama while Sagarika looked gorgeous in a bright red saree teamed up with a maroon embroidered blouse.
The couple is expected to host a reception this evening to celebrate their marriage with friends and colleagues.
Zaheer got engaged to the model-turned actress on April 24 this year. He took to twitter to announce his engagement in the wittiest way after losing his heart to the stunning maiden.
He posted: “Never laugh at your wife's choices. You are one of them !!! Partners for life. #engaged @sagarikavghatge (sic).”
Zak and Sagrika were spotted together often at various dos organised by cricketers. They had also made a joint appearance at Yuvraj Singh’s wedding ceremony last year and looked inseparable.
