Mumbai: Before doing the saat pheres, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma exchanged rings to mark their engagement in Italy. The cricketer and the Bollywood star had an intimate wedding ceremony which included all the rituals including haldi and mehendi. Images of the wedding were shared by the couple last evening, but here’s something about their engagement.
Virat and Anushka probably got engaged a day before the date of marriage. A video of their engagement has surfaced online and we can’t stop going gaga over their adorable chemistry.

After exchanging rings, Virat plants a kiss on Anushka’s cheek and the two hug each other with all the warmth and love. Isn’t that irresistibly cute?
Anushka and Virat had a fairytale wedding couples madly in love would dream of. Away from the crowd and the regular city life, VirUshka chose Tuscany in Italy for their most special day.
For her engagement, Anushka wore a Sabyasachi velvet saree. The ace designer made it in his signature Gulkand Burgundy. It was hand-embroidered using miniature pearls and the finest quality zardosi and marori.
She teamed the gorgeous saree with a stunning uncut diamond and pearl choker with matching studs. The entire look was complemented with kohl-rimmed eyes, red roses and iconic micro dot bindi.
Virat looked dapper in navy blue classic suit with grey tie.
The two are truly made for each other and indeed a perfect ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’!
