After Meerut youth announced Rs 5 crore bounty for beheading actress Deepika Padukone and Bhansali, Haryana BJP Chief Media Coordinator Suraj Pal Amu made another shocking statement saying that 'We'll reward the ones beheading them, with Rs 10 crore and also take care of their family's needs.”
Such outrageous threats are being given out openly, and to show an industry's support to the film and its cast, several A-lister took to Twitter and backed Padmavati and the director.
Twinkle found her own way of hitting the bull's eye. She took a sly dig at these self-proclaimed custodians of culture by tweeting:

Padmavati features Deepika in titular role Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maharwal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. The film release has been delayed and the new date of the venture hitting the screens will be announced shortly.
