Mumbai: Speculations were rife that Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli's marriage had hit the rocks. The two weren't seen together for a very long time and this fuelled rumours about trouble in their paradise. But the pretty actress has put all speculations to rest.
According to the Times of India, Abhinav was in Bengaluru to be with his family after his father's death. In the same year, Shweta was pregnant with their first child. Abhinav had a lot of personal work to do there in the city before he could move to the city.
"Abhinav’s parents stayed in Bengaluru, so he had to stay there for some time before he could get his mother here. His father was a retired air force officer and his mother owned a publishing company. Abhinav required some time before he could wrap up everything and be in Mumbai with us. He stayed there for almost a year," Shweta said during an interview to the leading daily.
Abhinav's absence for a long time made people ask Shweta if all was well between the two of them. Abhinav couldn't even spend much time with his son Reyansh as he had to juggle between Mumbai and Bengaluru.
And now that Shweta has ended all rumours by breaking her silence on Abhinav's absence, fans of the couple can breathe a huge sigh of relief.
Shweta and Abhinav got married on July 13, 2013. They welcomed their first bundle of joy – son – who has been named Reyansh on November 27, 2016.
Shweta has a teenage daughter named Palak from her first marriage.
