Mumbai: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone set the silverscreen ablaze with their sizzling chemistry in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram Leela’ and have since then been a couple in real life too (rumour mills say so)! But the duo in question has neither admitted to being in love nor denied it.
Sometime in October last year, there were reports hinting that the two had headed to splitsville but they put all rumours to rest by walking hand-in-hand at Mukesh Ambani’s bash a few days later.
They indeed make a gorgeous couple. Their off screen chemistry even reflected on their onscreen portrayal of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and their fans went head-over-heels admiring them as an ideal couple.
However, it’s been a while they have been spotted together. The last time they made a public appearance was during the premiere of Deepika’s debut Hollywood flick ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’.
During an interview with Rajeev Masand held recently, the dimpled beauty apparently said “Romance is the least priority right now out of the many things I like to juggle.”
According to a report in dnaindia.com, originally attributed to the interview, Deepika said, “Not that it doesn’t feature, it definitely features in the list of things that I need that are very important part of my life… To be in a peaceful relationship, it requires two people to be extremely secure about themselves and be extremely secure about the relationship itself. I think it also comes down to understanding each other’s professions. If some people may not completely understand the time demands or the travel demands and things like that… I think it’s important. You can’t choose that but one can be in a positive space if both partners are understanding of the other person’s demands.”
