New Delhi: On December 16, 2012, India was shamed as a young 23-year-old paramedic student (Nirbhaya) was gang-raped by six men in a moving bus. The Supreme Court on Friday confirmed death penalty for all four convicts in Nirbhaya gang-rape case.
The prime accused in the horrific case, Ram Singh committed suicide inside the jail and another accused, who happened to be a juvenile at the time of committing the heinous crime was sent to a reformative sentence of 3 years.
