Mumbai: Dancer Mukti Mohan is apparently miffed with people’s obsession for fair skin. The young lady took to her Instagram page to express her take on the whole idea of skin colour and slam those who call dark-skinned people ugly.

First of all WE Indian/African SUN kissed awesome people ruled the world before the colonization, industrialization, globalization,marketing booming world which was created by the lesser sun recieving skin population. Remember old movies we had more gold and they killed each other for food? Yes , So in order to rule they had to make us feel inferior but it's up to you how you want to breath the same air, feel the sun and shhhh the non sense.
Second of all you are as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. Do not use filters and creams that gives you instant gratification coz it will fade away but you will still look 25 till you are 50 if you stay out in the sun playing. That goes for men and women both , god!!! men are getting obsessed with looks more than ever.
Lastly if someone says Dark is the symbol of ugly and evil, send them to school

A few days ago I posted about female writers or if the females find the content they see in movies and series non relatable or for females with problems speaking up about their problems. Out of all the issues it was "beauty" which defines us females came out the strongest.

It’s nice to see celebrities addressing issues that need major corrections. As a civilised society we must get over the obsession for fair skin or the idea of “perfect beauty”. There’s no such thing as perfect beauty because each individual his beautiful in his/her own way.
