New Delhi: Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan' often leads to sparks flying here and there, making controversies in less than a minute. But never did one assume, the host himself to be in the middle of a roast this time. Well, the episode where he invited Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan went on to create the maximum hype this year.

Kangana's jibe on Johar as the movie mafia and snooty filmmaker who is the 'flag bearer of nepotism' created a storm after the show went on-air. While on the show, Karan seemed all poised and took it in his stride, the statements did kick off a major debate in the industry with some backing the filmmaker and others supporting Kangana.

It has been a while since the statement was made but looks like the steam is still there. Recently, KJo was seen at the launch of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan's book 'Master on Masters,' and in conversation with Suhel Seth. But again the Kangana episode was raised but in a lighter tone.

According to PTI, when Suhel Seth complimented Johar that he did not look his age, 44, the filmmaker quipped that he was 'honoured' to listen something 'polite' from him. To which, Seth replied, "I don't believe in politics of hatred. I believe affection has a much more charming virtue."

Then Johar added, "I have three words to ask- who are you ?" Seth just said 'Kangana' as the filmmaker laughed and added, "Really? Then I am going to run out of here."

Before the panel discussion began, the filmmaker took a dig at Kangana's statement by calling himself 'the nepotistic man'.

Recently, Karan Johar, became a single parent to twins Yash and Roohi. He talked about the kids saying, “My introduction to Hindi cinema was through Indian film music. When I made nursery for my kids, I made sure that I have music playing in that room all the time. I want them to grow up with music. Someone told me that there is Coldplay version of nursery rhymes. But I said no. They should learn and live with the music I grew up on. Because they are my children and they have to love the music I love because they have to love me."
