Karan Johar trolled after Janhvi-Ishaan's debut announced; Twitterati reminds him 'nepotism rocks'

New Delhi: Remember how one sly comment on 'nepotism' by Kangana Ranaut on Koffee With Karan season 5 had opened a pandora's box of trouble for filmmakers in Bollywood. Post that, there was a huge debate on various social media platforms and even talk shows on how B-Town backs star kids and promotes favouritism.

However, now that we thought it has died a slow death, suddenly the word has come back to life and is haunting filmmaker Karan Johar on Twitter. Soon after KJo announced the debut film of Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter titled 'Dhadak', Twitterati had a field day.

While many appreciated the first look posters, there were others who reminded Karan of how 'nepotism rocks'. Check out some of the hilarious tweets we found:

For the uninitiated, soon after Kangana called Karan 'a flagbearer of nepotism', the industrywallas decided to take her case. So during one of the award shows, Karan along with Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan took a jibe at Kangana and jestfully the trio echoed, 'Nepotism rocks'.

This led to a firecracker debate on social media where people slammed stars for publicly promoting nepotism.
