Mumbai: One of the liveliest and funny actors of Bollywood – Chunky Panday – is too happy-go-lucky to take bizarre remarks by friends seriously. The ‘Housefull’ actor recently reacted to Farah Khan’s ‘DNA test’ joke on his daughter Ananya that raised quite a few eyebrows on social media.

For the uninitiated, here’s the backstory – Bhavana Pandey, Chunky’s wife had shared a beautiful photograph of their daughter Ananya a few days ago. Farah, who is a very close family friend, commented on the Instagram post by saying, “Do a DNA test pls...she is too lovely to be Chunky’s child (sic).”

Soon, a variety of reactions started to pour and Farah was trolled for her remark.

Chunky, during an interview with Hindustan Times, said, “Farah is a darling friend and I know what she meant. She actually called Ananya beautiful. So I take that as a compliment. Also, Farah, Sajid [Khan] and I have a dark sense of humour, so we often crack such jokes about each other.”

To make things finnier, Chunky added, “Farah used to openly crush on me when we were young. And I always joke that crush got crushed. In fact, both my parents were doctors but I was a duffer. So when I was young, I also got my DNA test done.”
