New Delhi: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bharat' is high on the buzzword. The film is currently being shot in various locations and is slated for an Eid 2019 release. Ali Abbas Zafar, who has previously delivered the blockbuster 'Tiger Zinda Hai' with Salman and Katrina is helming the film. With the epic trio united, expectations are sure to fly high!
The 'Bharat' team has recently wrapped up its UAE schedule. Lead actors Salman and Katrina were clicked in Mumbai airport on Tuesday night.

Earlier today, Katrina had shared a picture from the sets of the film along with Salman and Sunil Grover. The caption was, “Schedule wrap#bharat @aliabbaszafar went for shopping”
The film is set in the backdrop of India in the 1940s and will take us through the events during the country’s partition. Not just that, the film will showcase significant events over a period of 70 years since partition, reports suggest.
The film will mark Salman and Zafar's third collaboration. The duo has already delivered two blockbusters – Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
The film was earlier had Priyanka Chopra on board who left the film for reasons best known to her. After Priyanka's sudden exit, Katrina was roped in to play the lead role.
'Bharat' has an ensemble star cast with the likes of Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi and Aashif Sheikh playing pivotal roles.
'Bharat' is an official Hindi remake of South Korean film Ode to My Father.
