Arhaan Singh, the man who was schooled by Anushka Sharma for littering on the street of Mumbai, has sent a legal notice to the 'Phillauri' actress and her husband Virat Kohli for shaming him and posting his video on the social media.
Arhaan shared the news via a text message that read, "Hi. My legal advisors have sent a notice to Mr. Virat Kohli and Mrs. Anushka Sharma Kohli. As the ball is in their court, no comments now..as in all fairness I should await their response."
Anushka and Virat have however not yet responded to the notice.
Last week on July 17, Indian skipper Virat had posted a video on Twitter showing his wife and actress Anushka slamming a man for throwing garbage on the street from his car. Anushka, who was sitting inside her car, next to Virat, was seen lashing out at a commuter after she spotted him littering on a street.
"Why are you throwing garbage on the road?", Anushka was heard shouting at the man from her car. The man, visibly taken aback by the sudden encounter with the actress, did not even mince a word. "Please be careful, you can't just throw plastic around on the streets," she said, before sighing off.
The video, shot by the Virat, from his car, was shared by him on the social media which led to a huge debate. While some stood by the celebrity couple for taking on the errant commuter, other took a dig at them for posting the video for the sake of some 'easy' publicity.
"Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma," Virat had tweeted.

Post the video, Arhhan also took to his social media to attack them for not being 'polite'. "

Arhhan’s mother too decided to take on the actress and her husband on Instagram. "The last thing we would want is to get publicity out of your cheap STUNT in the name of CLEANLINESS! You both posted a video for your fans n followers by VIOLATING Basic Rights to privacy &you shamed my son in the video as well in your post content," she wrote.
The commuter, at the end of the scolding, turned out to be an actor. Arhhan has worked as a side-actor in several films and has shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan (English Babu Desi Mem) and Shahid Kapoor (Paathsaala). He had also played Shekhar Suman and Bhavna Balsaver's son in hit television show 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' in 1993.
