New Delhi: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan along with son Abhishek Bachchan on Saturday attended the funeral of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai. The last rites ceremony took place around 8.30 PM at Vile Parle Seva Sansthan Shamshan Bhoomi.
Krishnaraj Rai passed away at a suburban hospital due to health issues. Rai was hospitalised a few weeks ago and later shifted to the ICU. He was reportedly battling cancer.
Krishnaraj Rai is survived by wife Vrinda, son Aditya and Aishwarya.

A host of celebrities including actors Shah Rukh Khan, Kunal Kapoor and filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ashutosh Gowariker paid their last respects to Aishwarya's father.
