Mumbai: Bollywood’s Mr Perfecrtionist Aamir Khan, who has turned 53 today, made his Instagram debut on the eve of his birthday. The superstar, who is busy with Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan has scored over 235k followers on the photo sharing site even without posting a single pic.

In the display pic, we can see Aamir sporting a nose-pin, which is of course a part of his appearance in Thugs of Hindostan, a film co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif.
Aamir already enjoys a huge social media following on Twitter and Facebook and is looking to extend this via Instagram for his fans not only in India but abroad too in markets like China, Turkey, Taiwan and Russia, read a statement.
He currently has a social media reach of more than 37 million users.
Through photo-sharing platform Instagram, Aamir will keep fans abreast of his life and projects.
This year, Aamir will be having a working birthday as shooting for his mega project 'Thugs of Hindostan' is underway in Jodhpur.
