Mumbai: If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh may team up for a project very soon. But wait, before you think it is for a film, let us tell you what it is all about.
Aamir and Ranveer are expected to share screen space for a mobile phone brand TVC. According to a report in India.com, the ad is expected to be shot soon as a series and will be aired over a period of time. The makers want the ad to have a timeless appeal and hence they will wait for Thugs of Hindostan shoot to get over.
In the aforementioned film, Aamir sports long hair, bushy moustache and a nose-pin. So the makers of the commercial want Aamir to do away with this look for the ad and hence they will wait until he finishes shooting for the film.
According to the report, both Aamir and Ranveer have agreed to do the ad which promises to be the quirkiest commercial till date.
Ranveer is currently busy with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy and is expected to shoot the ad once Aamir is ready.
Ranveer, who is twenty-years younger than Aamir, exhibits traits that remind us of the Dangal star when it comes to acting. Both Aamir and Ranveer are perfectionists. They undergo major physical transformations to do justice to the characters they essay on screen. Now isn’t that amazing?
