GOLD COAST: As Indian shooters, wrestlers and boxers continued to enthrall the audience with their spectacular performances in the respective categories, India's 'golden' run continued on Saturday - the Day 10 of the ongoing 21st Commonwealth Games in Australia's Gold Coast. Manika Batra created history by clinching a Gold in Women's singles table tennis competition at the Gold Coast Games. Batra defeated Singapore's Mengyu YU 3-0. Boxers Gaurav Solanki and Manish Kaushik, athlete Neeraj Chopra, wrestlers Sumit and Vinesh Phogat, shooters Sanjeev Rajput and Mary Kom were among the prominent medal winners for India on the tenth day of the mega sporting event. Wrestler Sumit won a Gold medal in men's 125kg freestyle after his injured opponent in the final league match Sinivie Boltic of Nigeria withdrew. Neeraj Chopra won a historic Gold medal in men's javelin throw with a distance of 86.47m. Boxer Gaurav Solanki won men's 52kg Gold medal. Boxer Manish Kaushik also claimed a Silver medal in the men's 60kg division after losing to Harry Garside of Australia in the final with a split decision delivered by the judges. Earlier, shooter Sanjeev Rajput won a Gold medal in men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions with a new Games Record of 454.5. As the events began, boxing legend MC Mary Kom bagged her maiden CWG Gold medal. Mary Kom beat Kristina O'Hara of Northern Ireland 5-0 in the women's 45-48kg final, bringing the 18th Gold medal for India. The men's doubles table tennis team also won bronze. Now, Indian boxer Vikas Krishan assures India it's 25th gold after winning the final of the 75kg category. With 25 Gold, 14 Silver and 18 Bronze, India currently ranks third on the medals table (59).
Australia, however, continues to dominate the tally with a maximum number of Gold medals (71), followed by England with 37 Gold, 38 Silver and 39 Bronze medals (111). Canada (14, 39, 26), South Africa (13, 11, 13) and New Zealand (12, 15, 13) are on the fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.

India's Medal Winners on Day 10
Vikas Krishan
The Haryana boxer gave the country it's 25th gold on Saturday after beating Cameroon's Dieudonne Wilfried Seyi Ntsengue 5-0 in the 75 kg category final.
Vinesh Phogat
India's Vinesh Phogat won Gold in the women's 50-kilogram wrestling competition at the 21st Commonwealth Games (CWG) here on Saturday. She ended at the top of the standings at the end of the Nordic (round robin) format. Vinesh, who won India's first women's wrestling Gold medal in 50-kg category at Gold Coast Games, remained undefeated in all of her three league matches.
Sumit
Wrestler Sumit won a Gold medal in men's 125kg freestyle after his injured opponent in the final league match Sinivie Boltic of Nigeria withdrew. This was India's 22nd gold at the Gold Games Games.
Neeraj Chopra
Neeraj Chopra won a historic Gold medal in men's javelin throw with a distance of 86.47m, which is also his season best. Vipin Kashan finished fifth with a distance of 77.87m. Neeraj Chopra's historic gold (a first ever for India in javelin throw at CWG) is only the fourth individual Gold for India in CWG athletics.
Manish Kaushik
Indian boxer Manish Kaushik had to be content with silver in the men's lightweight (60kg) division. Kaushik lost 2:3 to Harry Garside of Australia in a hard-fought final.
Gaurav Solanki
Indian boxer Gaurav Solanki won the Gold medal in the men's flyweight (52-kilogram) category at the 21st Commonwealth Games here on Saturday. Solanki won a tough, fast-paced, tactical battle by a split 4:1 verdict against the impressive Brendan Irvine of Northern Ireland in the final.
Amit Panghal
Another Indian boxer Amit Panghal finished with the Silver medal in the men's light flyweight (49-kilogram) category at the 21st Commonwealth Games (CWG) here on Saturday. Amit lost 1:3 to England's Galai Yafai in the final.
Mary Kom
India's boxing legend MC Mary Kom won her maiden CWG medal - a Gold - beating Kristina O'Hara of Northern Ireland 5-0 in the women's 45-48kg final. She won 18th Gold Medal for India, taking its tally to 43.
Day 9
India added a rich haul of 11 medals on Friday including 3 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze to their tally. Come Saturday, India have qualified in 12 gold-medal matches.
The gold rush began with a couple of gold early in the morning from the shooting ranges where Tejaswini Sawant grabbed the gold in the 50m rifle. Compatriot Anjum Moudgil took the silver in the same event. Later, India's Anish Bhanwala became the youngest shooter to win a gold in the 25m rapid fire pistol.
From the mat, India's wrestler Bajrang Punia got India it's 17th gold fighting it out in the 65kg category of freestyle wrestling. Though India were expecting more gold from wrestling but disappointment came in the form of Pooja Dhanda and Muasam Khatri who lost their respective finals to settle for silver medals in the women's 57kg category and the men's 97kg final. India's women's grappler Divya Kakran added another bronze from the 68 kg category bronze-medal bout.
From the boxing ring, India won three bronze. First, Naman Tanwar took the bronze after going down in the 91kg semifinal. Later, Hussamuddin Mohammed took bronze after getting beaten in the 56kg semifinal. In the end, experienced boxer Manoj Kumar too had an off day and could only get a bronze in the 69kg category.
Day 9 was capped off by another silver by the women's doubles Table Tennis team, who were beaten 3-0 in the final by Singapore.
