Puri: At least 16 coaches of a goods train derailed near Nergundi station in Odisha on Wednesday.
The incident, which occurred in the wee hours, has disrupted the rail traffic on the route.

No loss of life has been reported so far.

On September 23, a coach of Agra-Gwalior passenger train had derailed near Agra Cantt. Railway Station.
Earlier on September 14, a coach of Jammu Tawi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express had derailed at the New Delhi Railway Station.
The incident occurred a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a high-speed bullet train project in Ahmedabad and nearly a week after the engine of Ranchi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express derailed near Minto Bridge.
On September 7, seven coaches of the Jabalpur-bound Shaktipunj Express went off the tracks in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.
