New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi along with party vice-president Rahul Gandhi and other leaders will hold a silent protest today at the Gandhi Statue in the Parliament over the Vyapam scam.

Senior Congress leaders Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia are also likely to move an adjournment motion in the Parliament over the scam.

Meanwhile, the BJP held a parliamentary party meeting today as the government seeks to firms its strategy for the monsoon session which was rocked by the Lalit Modi episode on the opening day.

The Rajya Sabha was adjourned four times, as the Congress continued to insist on the resignation of the Swaraj for her alleged involvement in helping Lalit Modi.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu slammed the opposition, saying it is not ready for a discussion over Swaraj's resignation and is only interested in 'mud-slinging'.
