London: British police say they have arrested a teenage boy in Northern Ireland in connection with a cyber-attack on British telecoms company Talk Talk.

Scotland Yard said detectives arrested the 15-year-old on suspicion of computer misuse offenses after carrying out a search warrant at an address in County Antrim today.

The boy, who has not been identified, was taken into custody and will be questioned at a police station.

Talk Talk said over the weekend that attackers hacked the company's website and accessed some bank account details. But it said none of its customers' credit card information had been exposed.

The firm said Friday it had received a ransom note from the alleged hackers.
