Beijing: Two policemen were injured today in a bomb blast at a fast-food restaurant in a northeastern Chinese province.
The explosion took place at Dicos restaurant in Anda City in Heilongjiang Province, injuring the policemen.
Police received an anonymous phone call claiming that there would be a bomb blast within five minutes in the restaurant, said Sheng Wei, head of the public security bureau of Suihua City.
The police rushed to the scene to evacuate people. The explosion occurred during the evacuation, injuring two policemen, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
