Sydney: While the royal baby princess is yet to meet her uncle, Prince Harry has sent compliments for his newborn niece from Australia, calling her “absolutely beautiful”.

Prince Harry, who is stationed in Australia for training with defence units there, added that he “can't wait” to see the beautiful princess, the Kensington Palace tweeted.

 

According to reports, uncle Harry was seen at an Australian Football game on Saturday when Prince William and Kate Middleton were celebrating the arrival of their daughter along with the whole world.

Prince Harry who left London on April 27 is on his last military overseas posting in Australia before he quits the British Army after a decade in service.

Prince Harry is not expected in London till late May and that is when he will be able to meet the royal princess in person.

The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to the baby princess on Saturday morning and in the even the proud royal couple introduced their daughter to the crowd outside St Mary's Hospital.

The Kensington Palace informed that the royal couple was visited by The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Mr and Mrs Middleton, and Pippa Middleton on Sunday.

"The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations they have received from people all over the world," a statement by the Palace said.

"It means a great deal to them that so many people have celebrated the arrival of their new daughter."
