Beijing: An explosion at a factory in
east China`s Shandong Province claimed six lives on Saturday and
left one person injured.
The blast occurred at the Hengyang Asitaike
Anticorrosive Equipment Co Ltd, a unit at the Zhoucun Economic
Development Zone.
A statement from the development zone`s publicity
department said the blast occurred at 2:50 pm in Zibo City but
did not give any reason for the explosion.
Six people died at the scene and one person was taken
to the hospital.
