Washington: Leading White House hopeful Donald Trump said Thursday he is pledging allegiance to the Republican Party and its 2016 nominee, whoever it may be, as he ruled out a potential third-party bid.
"I will be totally pledging my allegiance to the Republican Party and the conservative principles for which it stands, and we will go out and we will fight hard and we will win," the real estate tycoon and Republican frontrunner told a press conference at his Trump New York headquarters.
"I see no circumstances under which I would tear up that pledge," he said.
