Dubai: The body of an Indian worker has been found hanging at his workplace in Sharjah in the UAE.
The petrochemical company worker, identified only as K L 32, ended his life yesterday as he was living under depression due to psychological and social problems, Gulf News reported.
A workmate of the deceased told police that they tried to save him by lifting his body after seeing it around 1.20 pm local time, but failed in their attempt as he was already dead.
The body was first transferred to a Kuwaiti Hospital and then to a forensic laboratory for an autopsy by the police and forensic teams after collecting fingerprints and other details from the scene.
Police have transferred the case to the Public Prosecution and an investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of death, police said.
