Washington: The US has arrested Ahmed Abu Khattala, the suspected ringleader of the Benghazi attack that killed four US citizens including US Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.

Khattala is presently in US custody at an undisclosed location, the BBC reported.
The suspect was arrested after US conducted a secret raid in Libya on Sunday, the Pentagon said in an official statement.

As per BBC report, Khattala was considered as a “key figure” in the attack and the FBI is now looking for other suspects involved.
Hillary Clinton, who was the Secretary of the State at the time of the attack, was severely criticised.

Four US nationals, including the US Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, was killed in a terrorist attack at US Consulate in Benghazi in 2012.
