The accident took place last night at Nayong County's Bijie City, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

In a separate accident yesterday, 12 people were killed and four others injured when a farm vehicle overturned in the country's northwestern Gansu province.

The accident occurred when the vehicle rolled over in Kangle County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture.
