Malda: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata said on Wednesday that Congress and CPM always worked together and that had now come out in the open.

"Masks are now off," the TMC chief said, adding, "The alliance of CPM and Congress has no ideological backing. They have no common agenda."

"CPM-Congress accuse us of being BJP's ally. They have no other arsenal to attack us. They are actually helping BJP," the TMC said.

"Trinamool does not believe in politics of rioting. We have carried out unprecedented development for minorities," she maintained.

At the same time Mamata talked out what her government had done for the people.

"The days of loadshedding are over. We are power surplus. We stand by the side of people during floods and drought. We have given rice at Rs 2/kg to people. We have established Uttarkanya for north Bengal. We gave away Sabuj Sathi cycles," she said.

"From Kisan Credit Card to Kanyashree, Yuvashree, Gitanjali, Asha, we have given benefits to 8.5 crore people. Bengal is number one in Skill Development, 100 Days' Work. We are a model in Kanyashree, rural electrification," Mamata added.

"Haat-Haturi-Padma, Banglar Manush korbe jobdo (Hand-Hammer-Lotus, People will teach them a lesson)," she told the people.

"Maa, Mati, Manush er Mahajot. Joraphool ey sob vote (Alliance of Maa, Mati, Manush will cast all votes for Joraphool)," the TMC chief added.
