Six Amarnath pilgrims were injured when their vehicles skidded off the road and turned turtle on highway in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu: Six Amarnath pilgrims were injured when their vehicles skidded off the road and turned turtle on highway in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The yatris, hailing from Haryana, were were returning after paying obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in south Kashmir Himalayas when the incident occurred, police said.

The vehicle, an Innova car, carrying them, skidded off the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle and turned upside down on the highway in Bali nallah belt of Udhampur late last night, police officials said today.

All of them have been admitted to the Udhampur hospital for treatment, they said.
