Lucknow: As security officials continue to crackdown on sympathisers of the terrorist outfit Islamic State, National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday arrested suspected ISIS sympathiser Abdus Sami Qasmi in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh.

A NIA court today sent Qasmi to 10-day police custody today.

Delhi Police' Special Cell on Friday arrested a suspected ISIS sympathiser Mohsin from the Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in national capital.

The arrested ISIS sympathiser was trying to reach Syria - the stronghold of the dreaded terrorist organisation.

The arrests come days after the NIA arrested a 24-year-old ISIS suspect from Bhopal as part of the anti-terror agency's crackdown on sympathisers of the terrorist outfit.

Meanwhile, eleven other suspected ISIS operatives, who were arrested from across the country for allegedly recruiting and financing people to join terror outfit Islamic State, were yesterday remanded in seven days NIA custody by a Delhi court.
